Exporting data

You can export the following data from Vissim:

• Nodes and edges from dynamic assignment for visualization in Visum (Exporting nodes and edges for visualization in Visum)
• Nodes and edges from dynamic assignment for assignment in Visum (Exporting nodes and edges for assignment in Visum)
• Static network data: Polygon data of the links and walkable areas (Exporting static network data)
• Public transport stops and public transport lines (Exporting PT stops and PT lines for Visum)

Export files are saved in the directory of the currently opened file *.inpx.

During data export, all coordinates of the Sphere-Mercator projection are written to the *.net file. The file format *.net Visum recognizes the projection.

You cannot export Vissim networks, that have been exported to Visum, from Visum and import them in Vissim.
