Creating charts with or without preselection

In the following program elements you can preselect objects to be used to create a line chart or bar chart:

• Network object sidebar (Creating charts from a network object type)
• Network editor (Creating charts from network objects in the network editor)
• Lists, such as the attribute list of the network object of a network object type, results lists or base data lists (Creating charts from data in a list)

You can also create a scatter plot, line chart or bar chart without using these program elements for preselection. In this case, select the desired data for a line chart or bar chart completely in the Create Chart window (Creating line charts or bar charts without preselection), for a scatter plot in the Create scatter plot window (Creating a scatter plot).
