Using a Visum network, you can generate an abstract network model (ANM), which can then be imported into and edited in Vissim (Transferring data from Visum to Vissim). Modifications of the Visum network can also be added later to a network previously exported and edited in Vissim. In the Vissim network, only the parts affected by the Visum modifications will be adjusted then.
In addition, you can read ANM files from different sources into an empty Visum network (Reading an abstract network model).
Another export option is the Vissim route export, in which the routes from a PrT assignment are exported as routes (Vissim route export).
