Create regular services

You can create multiple vehicle journeys which depart in regular intervals.

1.  Make sure that the desired lines are displayed in the timetable (Selecting lines to be displayed in the timetable).

2.  On the timetable toolbar, click the Create vehicle journey(s) button.

Tip: Alternatively, you can call the function via the Timetable > Create vehicle journey menu.

The Create vehicle journey(s) window opens.

3.  Make the desired changes in the Basis tab (Creating a vehicle journey).

Note: The settings in the Basis tab apply to all regular services. Only the Number and the start time apply to the first regular service. Visum automatically numbers the regular services consecutively. If you have specified the respective setting, only odd or only even numbers will be allocated (Specifying default values for lines and line routes). Already allocated numbers will be skipped.

4.  Select the Regular services tab.

5.  Make the desired changes.

Create regular services

If the option has been selected, you can specify settings in the Regular services tab to insert multiple vehicle journeys.

Note

Place attribute value in front of the vehicle journey name

If the option is selected, you can choose a vehicle journey attribute whose value will be placed in front of the names of the created vehicle journeys connected with an underscore. The attribute value of the first created vehicle journey is used for all other vehicle journeys to be created.

Note

A preview of the names is displayed in the Name column in the table of regular services. This preview also takes into account all other options for automatic naming.

Prepend departure time to the name of the vehicle journey

If this option is selected, the departure time is placed in front of the name of the new vehicle journey. You can enter the name in the Name field on the Basis tab.

Prepend vehicle journey number to the name of the vehicle journey

If only this option is selected, the number from the Basis tab precedes the name of each new vehicle journey. You can enter the number in the Number field on the Basis tab. Visum automatically assigns the next free number if you do not enter a different start number in the starting at input field.
