Separating vehicle journeys or shortening the coupled section

You may use the tabular or graphical timetable to separate vehicle journeys.

Separating a single vehicle journey or shortening the coupled section

1.  Mark the vehicle journey that you want to edit (Marking vehicle journeys).

2.  On the timetable toolbar, click the Separate vehicle journey button .

The Couple vehicle journey <number> window opens.

3.  In the Selection of separation section section, in the Coupled vehicle journeys column, mark the coupled sections you want to separate.

4.  If required, click the icon to limit the number of rows displayed.

All vehicle journeys

Select this option to show all vehicle journeys.

Only stop points

Select this option to only show the stop points of the vehicle journey.

Only stop points of transport system <Transport system of selected vehicle journey>

Select this option to only show the stop points of the transport system of the vehicle journey selected.

Only stop points where boarding or alighting is permissible

Select this option to only show the stop points where boarding or alighting is permitted.

5.  If required, click the  icon next to the option Additional coupled vehicle journeys with the same time profile in selected area to show additional vehicle journeys with the same time profile that are coupled via at least one time profile item of the selected area.

6.  In the Separate column, select the vehicle journeys you want to separate.

7.  Click the Separate button.

The vehicle journeys are separated. The coupling sections remain intact if they contain at least another two vehicle journeys in addition to the ones marked.

Separating multiple vehicle journeys marked entirely

1.  Mark the vehicle journeys that you want to edit (Marking vehicle journeys).

2.  On the timetable toolbar, click the Separate vehicle journey entirely button .

Notes: The icon has a different function depending on the number of vehicle journeys marked: Separate vehicle journey for a single marked vehicle journey, Separate vehicle journeys entirely for multiple vehicle journeys marked.

All couplings of vehicle journeys are then deleted.
