Marking vehicle journeys

You can mark vehicle journeys as follows in order to edit them afterwards.

Notes: Marked vehicle journeys are highlighted.

Vehicle journeys marked in the tabular timetable are also marked in the graphical timetable and vice versa if, in both windows, you have activated synchronization with other windows.

Vehicle journeys marked in the graphical or tabular timetable are also marked in the Network editor and in the Vehicle journeys list and vice versa if synchronization with other windows has been activated in the windows (Synchronizing the graphical and tabular timetables with other windows).

If vehicle journeys are marked in the Timetable editor, the related entries are displayed in bold in the line selection window.

Description

Marking one vehicle journey

Tabular timetable

To mark a vehicle journey, click its column header.

Tip

If you click in the column, the marking is removed.

Graphical timetable

Click the vehicle journey items to mark a vehicle journey.

Marking multiple vehicle journeys.

Tabular timetable

To mark multiple vehicle journeys, hold down the Ctrl key and click several column headers, one after the other. All columns are marked. In the last column marked, the header is not marked.

Tip

To remove the marking of a column, click in it again.

Graphical timetable

To mark several vehicle journeys, keep the Ctrl key pressed and click the desired vehicle journey items in turn.

Tip

Alternatively, in the Graphical timetable, right-click to drag open a rectangle. The vehicle journeys contained in the rectangle will be marked.

Marking several adjoining vehicle journeys

Tabular timetable

To mark several adjoining vehicle journeys, click the first column header, hold down the Shift key, and then click the last column header.

Marking coupled vehicle journeys.

You can mark all vehicle journeys which are coupled with the currently marked vehicle journey by selecting the Find coupled vehicle journey entry in the shortcut menu.

Notes

If a coupled vehicle journey has not been displayed in the timetable so far, a query opens. When you confirm the query, the vehicle journey will be displayed and marked. Even indirectly coupled vehicle journeys are marked, i.e. vehicle journeys which are not coupled directly but with a joint other vehicle journey.

Tip

Alternatively, you can call the functionality via Ctrl + F3.

Marking vehicle journeys of specific lines, line routes, time profiles

Tabular timetable and Graphical timetable

You can mark the Vehicle journeys of specific objects of the line hierarchy if you click the  Mark vehicle journeys icon and select the desired objects of the line hierarchy in the window of the same name.

Reverse vehicle journey marking

To reverse the current marking of vehicle journeys, click the Reverse vehicle journey marking symbol.

Tip

Alternatively, you can reverse the marking in the Tabular timetable. To do so, from the Timetable (tabular) menu, choose Reverse vehicle journey marking.

Removing marking(s)

To remove all current vehicle journey markings, click the Undo vehicle journey marking symbol .

Marking vehicle journeys of specific objects of the line hierarchy

You can mark the vehicle journeys of specific lines, line routes or time profiles.

1.  On the toolbar of the tabular or graphical timetable, click the  Mark vehicle journeys icon.

The Mark vehicle journeys window opens and the lines selected in the Line selection of the Timetable lines window are displayed.

2.  Select the objects whose vehicle journeys you want to mark in the timetable.

The selected vehicle journeys are displayed in the timetable.
