Signal time optimization

Within the scope of the intersection capacity analysis using ICA, you can optimize the signal times for individual signal controllers in two ways:

• Green time optimization (Split optimization)
• Cycle and green time optimization (Signal cycle and split optimization)

In addition, using signal coordination, you can optimize the time intervals between multiple signal controllers in the network (Signal coordination (Signal offset optimization)).

Note: Optimization regards only those nodes (main nodes), whose effective control type = signalized. Optimization does not regard those nodes (main nodes) whose signal controller has been turned off or to which no signal controller has been allocated.
