Creating a toll system

1.  In the Network editor window, click the Insert mode icon .

2.  In the Network window, click the Toll systems button.

3.  In the network, click the position where you want to insert the centroid of the toll system.

Tip: You specify settings for the newly inserted network object directly in the Quick view window (Toll systems) window.

The attributes of toll systems are described here (Properties and options of toll systems).

If you want to display the Create toll system window when inserting the object, you can right-click the Toll systems button in the Network window, activate Show dialogs when inserting objects, and directly adjust settings for the newly created network object.

The centroid of the toll system is inserted. You can now create a boundary. The optional boundary is used to calculate the area of the toll system and shows its spatial extent.

You can continue as follows:

  • If you do not want to define a boundary for the toll system, press the Esc key. The toll system is then inserted as a centroid without a boundary. You can specify the boundary later (Creating a boundary).
  • If you want to define a boundary for the toll system, proceed with (Creating a boundary) step 5.

Notes: If a link has a toll system assigned, the value of the link attribute Toll-PrTSys is not used for the TRIBUT-Equlibrium_Lohse procedure (TRIBUT - Equilibrium_Lohse (static)).

You can allocate links to a toll system later by allocating either a 0, i.e. no toll system, to the link attribute Toll system number in the link list or the number of the desired toll system.
