Signing in to PTV Cloud with PTV user account

From PTV you can access your Vissim user account in order to use PTV services in PTV Hub:

• Open cloud models from PTV Hub in Vissim (Opening a cloud model)
• Save the opened cloud model back to PTV Hub (Saving a cloud model)
• Manage your PTV user account
• Show your subscriptions
• Add a comment to the open cloud model (Adding a comment to the cloud model, showing model details and history)
• View model details and history for the open cloud model (Adding a comment to the cloud model, showing model details and history)

After successful registration, Vissim checks your data stored in your user account each time you sign in. This is part of the authentication process.

1.  Make sure that you have a user account, e-mail address and password for PTV Vision Cloud.

You provide this data as part of the registration process for PTV Hub. The first time you access PTV Hub, you are required to activate a subscription. The subscription is subject to a fee depending on its scope and content. Manage your subscriptions in your PTV user account.

2.  Go to Vissim in the top right menu bar and click Sign in.

The PTV user account sign in and a browser open. The Sign in page is displayed in the browser.

3.  Enter your e-mail address and your password for PTV Hub.

4.  In the browser, click Sign in.

The browser displays the message You are now logged in.

5.  Return to Vissim.

As long as you are logged in, your user name is highlighted in color in the menu bar and you can access PTV's services in PTV Hub.

Note: Sign out when you close Vissim (Closing a cloud model and signing out). Otherwise, you will stay signed in and be signed in when you reopen Vissim.
