Generating a node-edge graph
You can create a node-edge graph for nodes:
- For dynamic assignment: The nodes must have been activated for dynamic assignment (Attributes of nodes). Further relations can thus be displayed:
- Turns (dynamic assignment) of links (Attributes of links)
- Edges (dynamic assignment) of links (Attributes of links)
- For node evaluation and thus for the following relations:
- Movements of nodes (Evaluating nodes), (Attributes of nodes). Vissim automatically generates the nodes-edges graph for evaluations when the Node results list is opened.
- Turns (evaluation) of links (Attributes of links)
- Edges (evaluation) of links (Attributes of links)
1. Select Network > Edges in the Lists menu.
The list Edges opens. If no node-edge graphs were generated, only the column titles are shown.
2. Right-click in the list.
3. On the shortcut menu, click the desired entry:
- Create Dynamic Assignment Graph
- Create Evaluation Graph
The edges and their attributes are shown in the Edges list (Attributes of edges).
When you edit, insert or delete the network objects that affect edges, Vissim updates the Edges list. Where required, Vissim deletes the nodes-edges graph so that you must recreate it.
