Using PTV Vissim Kernel

PTV Vissim Kernel is a computational kernel for Linux computers that allows you to run simulations and write simulation results. You access PTV Vissim Kernel via the command line or the driving simulator interface.

It does not have a graphical user interface. The COM interface is not supported. Signal controls are not supported.

In a typical use case, you would model your network using a full version of Vissim and multiple Linux computers with PTV Vissim Kernel installed to calculate simulations of the network that are configured differently.
