Signal Coordination Group layer
The Signal Coordination Group (SCG) layer displays the area that surrounds all controllers of the same signal coordination group.
Each controller is represented by its own icon (→ Controllers layer).
A SCG is used to identify a subset of signal controllers that must work together.
This may be useful in different situations, for example:
- To coordinate junctions across a given area (signal optimization).
- To define a subnetwork of controllers (signal performance monitoring).
Click a SCG area to open a pop-up window listing the attributes of the SCG.
