Optima KPI
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are scalar measurements to assess the characteristics:
- Of traffic networks in real time.
- Of the simulated scenarios.
For example, you can build a KPI to calculate:
- The percentage of delayed public transport runs.
- The average speed along a road.
KPIs are associated to a specific provider (see → KPI providers) and computed in a scheduled or triggered way using the data produced by the corresponding provider. They can be managed:
- Through a set of APIs (see → Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)).
- Through the Traffic Supervisor GUI (see → Adding a KPI).
Optima provides mainly:
- A set of KPI Templates.
- A set of data Providers.
