Using a PTV Hub license

There are the following possibilities:

• No other license is available
• Another license is available

Prerequisites are:

• You have installed the PTV Vision product on the computer.
• You have received an invitation to a PTV Hub subscription.
• You have an internet connection (How can I check the ability to reach a CmCloud license?).

Possibility 1: no other license available

1.  Start the PTV Vision product.

The No license selected window opens.

2.  Click Use license from subscription.

The Do you want to sign in with your PTV user account? window opens.

3.  Click Sign in.

A browser opens.

4.  Enter your login details and click Sign In.

5.  Close the browser and return to the License Management window listing the licenses.

6.  Select a license of the type PTV Hub.

Note: If only one license is available, the software starts automatically and no other steps are required.

7.  Click OK.

The PTV Hub license can now be used.

Possibility 2: another license available

1.  Start the PTV Vision product.

2.  Open the License Management window (Using the License Management window).

3.  Click Search for licenses in Subscription.

The Do you want to sign in with your PTV user account? window opens.

4.  Click Sign in in the window.

A browser opens.

5.  Enter your login details and click Sign In.

6.  Close the browser and return to the PTV Vision product.

7.  Select the license of the type PTV Hub.

Note: Make sure you move your license to the top of the list using the arrows. This supersedes any other license type.

8.  Click OK and close the product.

9.  Restart the PTV Vision product.

ThePTV Hub license can now be used.
