Exporting OMX data

1.  From the File menu, select the Export > Matrices (OMX) entry.

The OMX export window opens.

2.  On the File export tab, make the desired changes.

Element

Description

OMX file

Enter the path for the OMX file to be created.

The path can be specified as absolute or relative. Relative paths are interpreted by Visum relative to the project directory for matrices.

Matrix reference type

Specify the reference object. You can select zone, main zone, and stop area.

Only active zones

If the option is selected, only active objects of the selected network object type will be taken into account.

Matrix selection

Select the matrices you want to export directly or via a matrix expression from (Selecting matrices). You can use an expression to select several matrices without knowing the specific matrix IDs. A regular matrix reference expression is, for example:

Matrix([DModelCode] = "" & [DStratCode] = "" & [ModeCode] = "")

Attribute for matrix name

Select a matrix attribute from which the matrix name is formed in the OMX file.

3.  On the Matrix metadata tab, make the desired changes.

Note: Here you can define additional attributes that are exported as metadata for each matrix.

Element

Description

Visum matrix attribute

Visum matrix attributes whose values are exported as metadata. A corresponding metadata entry is created in the OMX file for each selected attribute.

You can adjust the selection of attributes using and .

4.  On the OMX lookup tables tab, make the desired changes.

Element

Description

... attribute

Lookup tables are generated, each containing the allocation of row/column number to the Visum object ID (zone number, main zone number, or stop area number).

Here you can select attributes of the selected matrix reference type from which the OMX lookup tables are created. A lookup table is generated for each attribute. At least one unique attribute (e.g. key attribute) must be included.

You can adjust the selection of reference object attributes using and .

5.  Confirm with OK.

The selected data is exported.
