Resetting the lane data at nodes

Resetting node geometries

Note: You can edit the lanes of individual junctions in the junction editor You can edit the node geometries of individual junctions in the junction editor (Editing the geometry of a node).

You can execute the functionality for all, all active nodes, or nodes marked in the network editor. When you execute the reset function, all legs, lane turns, and associated crosswalks of the selected nodes are reset to the default values. Optionally, attributes of inbound through lanes at the node are also reset and allocations of detectors to through lanes are removed. This allows you to correct inconsistent or unwanted changes, for example.

Editing the attribute values of all or all active nodes

1.  If required, set the nodes active whose lane datanode geometries you want to reset to the default values, via

The selected nodes are active.

2.  In the Network window, right-click the Nodes button.

The Nodes shortcut menu opens.

3.  Select Reset node geometries.

The Reset node geometries at nodes window opens.

4.  Select Reset lane data.

The Reset lane data at nodes window opens.

5.  If necessary, select the Only edit active objects option.

6.  Select the option Also reset attributes of inbound through lanes ... option if you also want to edit the settings for the through lanes and the associated detectors.

7.  Confirm with OK.

The node geometries are reset.

The lane data is reset.

Tip: You can also call up the function via the shortcut menu of the junction editor.

Editing marked nodes

1.  In the network, mark all nodes whose lane datanode geometries you want to reset to the default values.

2.  Right-click in the network display.

A shortcut menu opens.

3.  Select Reset node geometries.

The Reset node geometries at nodes window opens.

4.  Select Reset lane data.

The Reset lane data at nodes window opens.

5.  Select the option Also reset attributes of inbound through lanes ... option if you also want to edit the settings for the through lanes and the associated detectors.

6.  Confirm with OK.

The node geometries are reset.

The lane data is reset.

Tip: You can also call the function from the shortcut menu of the corresponding list and edit marked objects together.
