Inserting single object conditions

For single object conditions, first select the network object type. The conditions can then be defined by selecting one or more objects of this network object type (Fundamentals: Partial flow bundles, single object conditions, and set conditions). If you want to define single object conditions, proceed as follows.

1.  Use the triangle to select the desired entry.

A new tab is displayed for the partial flow bundle.

2.  Select the desired demand segment by clicking the Select button.

3.  In the drop-down list, click the desired Network object type.

4.  In the network, click the desired object of the selected network object type across which the flow bundle should pass.

Notes: If on the toolbar, the  Click only active objects button is activated, you cannot use the mouse to select passive network objects (Marking only active network objects).

Click the symbol if you want to search for and insert a network object via the search window.

The object is listed in the Single object conditions section.

5.  If desired, select other objects in the network.

Tip: You can change the network object type if you want to insert different object types.

6.  Specify further settings for the new rows, if required.

Combination

In the column, you define which conditions are taken into account when selecting the paths. If you click on the triangle, you can switch between the options.

First/Not

For the first condition of a new group of flow bundle conditions, the option is First or Not. For the following conditions, it is And then or And then not.

If for the conditions First/And then is selected, all paths are selected that fulfill the condition.

If for the condition the option Not/And then not is selected, all paths are selected that do not fulfill the condition.

Network object

Display of the network object that is highlighted in the network. You can change the object if you click .

Condition

The entries open the Edit flow bundle term window. In the window, you can change further settings for flow bundle conditions.

Note

The first two conditions are only available for PuT partial flow bundles:

  • Supply tab

You can select the PuT supply for PuT network objects (Using PuT network objects to make settings for flow bundle conditions).

  • Passenger types tab

You can select the passenger type for PuT network objects (Using PuT network objects to make settings for flow bundle conditions).

  • Temporal restriction tab

If required, add temporal restrictions for selected objects (PrT flow bundles with temporal restrictions and PuT flow bundles with temporal restrictions).

  • Traffic types tab: Select the desired traffic types:
  • Internal traffic: Filters paths which only use active objects
  • Origin traffic: Filters paths starting with an active object and ending with a passive object
  • Destination traffic: Filters paths starting with a passive object and ending with an active object
  • Through traffic: Filters paths which start and end with a passive object and use at least one active object in-between
  • External traffic: Filters paths which do not use active objects
  • Bypassing internal traffic: Filters paths which start and end with an active object and use at least one passive object in-between

Notes

You can set several options as active, however not all at once. This option is only available for PuT partial flow bundles.
