Opening a cloud model
You can open and edit a Visum network in Visum that is saved as a cloud model on a cloud server. You can then save the cloud model locally or save it as a cloud model and upload it in PTV Hub.
1. Make sure that you have a PTV user account, an e-mail address, and a Password for PTV Hub and sign in.
Enter this data as part of the registration process (Signing in to PTV Hub with a PTV user account).
2. From to the File menu, choose Open cloud model.
The Select model window is displayed.
3. Make the desired changes:

| Manage models in browser | The link opens the table of all models of the workspace selected under Workspace in PTV Hub. |
4. Select the desired cloud model and click Open.
If the Save working copies in the default working directory option is not selected in the user settings, the Select directory for working copy window opens (Using default working directories for working copies of cloud models).
5. If the Select directory for working copy window opens, make the desired settings.
6. Confirm with OK.
The first time it is opened, a local working copy of the cloud model is downloaded. If you open the cloud model again for further editing, it will only be updated with the changes made since the last edit.
You can edit and save the cloud model (Saving a cloud model) and enter a comment on your changes directly afterwards. You can view the model details and history in the browser (Adding a comment to the cloud model, showing model details and history).

Tip: In the Models app, you can also open the models in the list directly in the desktop application. To do this, click the |
symbol in the corresponding row, which appears when you hover over the row.
