Notes on the computing cores used

Most ABM procedures benefit greatly from the fact that they can be calculated on many computing cores. However, it is possible that the memory management under Windows is no longer optimal with too many computing cores (in our experience 64 and more) and an ABM calculation becomes slower by a factor of up to 100. In this case, do not use the maximum number of computing cores available. The optimum number depends on the respective computer architecture and can only be determined experimentally.
