The sum of all routes j is taken and β is used as a parameter for modeling the impedance sensitivity. In this distribution method, the ratios of the various impedances are decisive. It does not matter, therefore, whether two routes have impedances of 5 and 10 minutes, for example, or 50 and 100 minutes – the distribution is the same. Illustration 90 shows the parameterization of the Kirchhoff distribution model on the interface.
