Rotating labels of link bars
You can rotate link bar labels as desired instead of aligning them with the link to improve the display of networks.
You can rotate the label with the mouse or set an angle. You can rotate individual or all bar labels, or bar labels within a desired area.
Rotating a link bar label with the mouse
1. In the Network window, click the Links button.
2. Right-click the label that you want to rotate.
A shortcut menu opens.
3. Select the Rotate entry.
The label can now be rotated. During rotation, the current angle is displayed in 15-degree increments.
Note: If you want a more precise display, hold down the Shift key while rotating. |
4. Rotate the label as desired.
5. Right-click in the network.
The label is displayed at the set angle to the link.
Note: If you hold down the Ctrl key, the label of the opposite direction will also be rotated. |
Setting a rotation angle for link bar labels
1. In the Network window, click the Links button.
2. Right-click the label that you want to rotate.
A shortcut menu opens.
3. Select the Set rotation angle entry.
The Set rotation angle of link bar labels window opens.
4. Make the desired changes.

Specify the desired rotation angle in degrees for rotating the label around the alignment point. |

5. Confirm with OK.
Resetting link bar labels
You can reset a bar label to its initial position along the bar.
1. In the Network window, click the Links button.
2. Right-click the label that you want to reset.
A shortcut menu opens.
3. Select Reset rotation angle.
The label is again aligned with the link.
Aligning the bar labels of all links
Alternatively, you can make the settings described above for all bar labels in the network.
1. In the Network window, click the Links button.
2. Right-click at any position in the network.
A shortcut menu opens.
3. Select the Bar labels > entry and the desired sub-entry.
The setting is applied to all bar labels.
Aligning bar labels of links within an area
You can also rotate the bar labels within a defined area.
1. In the Network window, click the Links button.
2. Use the mouse to draw a rectangle to select the desired links.
3. Right-click one of the selected links.
A shortcut menu opens.
4. Select the entry Bar labels > Set rotation angle.
The bar label is rotated for the selected links.
