Allocating user-defined attributes to user-defined groups
You can allocate new or existing user-defined attributes to user-defined groups.
Allocating a new attribute to a user-defined group
1. Create a user-defined attribute (Creating a user-defined attribute).
2. Allocate the attribute to the desired group under Group.
Note: If you have not yet created the respective group, you can insert it now by selecting the entry <Create new group> in the selection list of groups. |
3. Confirm with OK.
The attribute is created and allocated to the desired group.
Allocating existing attributes to a user-defined group
1. From the Network menu, choose User-defined attributes.
The List (Attributes) opens and the display is already restricted to user-defined attributes.
2. Select the User-defined group column for display (Viewing/Hiding attributes).
3. Allocate a group to the desired user-defined attribute in the User-defined group column using the drop-down list.
The attribute is allocated to the desired group.
Notes: You can remove the allocation by selecting the entry Do not allocate to any group in the User-defined group column. If you want to allocate several attributes to a group, you can also copy the name of the group and paste it into the rows of the corresponding attributes. |
