You can copy your accident data to a file template provided in the *.xlsx file format and save it. In the file, columns outline the structure for the accident data.
1. In the PTV Visum installation folder, go to the folder Data > Safety_Templates.
2. Use Microsoft Excel to open the file VisumSafetyAccidentDataTemplate.xlsx.
3. Open the Description sheet.
A description of the attribute columns in German can be found in the Description (DE) column, in the Description worksheet. For the description of the attribute columns in English, please refer to the Description (EN) column.
The rows on top contain example data sets. Please stick to these conventions.
4. Open the VisumSafetyAccidentDataTemplate.csv file from the same folder.
5. Enter your accident data.
6. Save the VisumSafetyAccidentDataTemplate.csv file.
7. Import the accidents (Importing accidents).
8. If necessary, choose the accident data configuration Standard.
