Timetable-based assignment: Risk of delay page
On this page, you configure the parameters for the evaluation of delays. All active vehicle journey items with a risk of delay greater than zero are considered in the procedure (Fundamentals: Risk of delay).
Notes: To analyze the risk of delay, make sure that:
|
Note: It is not possible to analyze the risk of delay in combination with Shared mobility. |
Element |
Description |
Delay distribution section |
Probability of punctuality Use the button to select the attribute that contains the value for the probability of punctuality of the vehicle journey item. The attribute values must be ≥ 0 and £ 1. Event rate of the exponential distribution Use the button to select the attribute that contains the value for the probability of delay of the vehicle journey item. The attribute values need to be ≥ 0. |
Termination criteria section |
Maximum delay analyzed Maximum delay, which is still included in the analysis; in the case of long delays, the analysis is terminated. Minimum probability of a longer delay If the probability of a long delay of a vehicle journey item is less than the entered value, the calculation for the vehicle journey item is canceled. Default: 0.000001 |
Output option section |
Relevant delay Defines the time from which a delay is considered relevant. Note This parameter is used for calculating the attribute Share of passenger trips with a relevant delay, which is output for paths, path legs and connections. |
Missed connections without alternative connection section |
Delay Defines the delay in case no alternative connection is found. Note For the search for alternative connections, the Branch & Bound search is performed(Timetable-based assignment: Search page). |
The skims are stored at the passenger transfers, connecting journeys, and connections in the following calculated attributes:
- Risk of delay per person
- Total risk of delay
- Share of OD trips with relevant delay
- OD trips with relevant delay
