Editing your line selection

To open a timetable window from a different window, you might have to change the line selection for the respective timetable. To do so, in the Edit line selection window, you can make different settings. The options available depend on the network object of the line hierarchy, via which you want to open the timetable. They are, however, all very similar. Here we will describe the options available for links, as an example. (Links: opening the graphical or tabular timetable).

1. Make the desired changes.

Element	Description
Include only active stops / stop points in stop sequence	Note This option is only available if the following criteria are met: passive stops exist the line selection shall be changed on the basis of links or edges of the schematic line diagram If this option is selected, only active stops will be included in the stop sequence when recalculating the stop sequence. Existing stops will not be changed.
Which line routes do you want to adopt into the timetable? Those traversing at least one marked link, or only those traversing all marked links?	At least one marked link If the option is selected, all line routes are displayed that traverse one of the marked links. All marked links If the option is selected, only line routes are displayed that traverse all of the marked links.
Do you want to adopt line routes into the timetable that traverse the marked links of the opposite direction?	Only allow outward journey If the option is selected, only line routes are displayed that traverse the marked links of the direction selected. Also allow opposite direction If the option is selected, all line routes are displayed that traverse the marked links.
Keep line selection or replace or extend with the selected time profiles?	Replace If this option is selected, the existing line selection is replaced with the new selection of time profiles. Extend If this option is selected, the existing line selection is extended with the new selection of time profiles. Keep If the option is selected, the existing line selection is retained.

2. Confirm with OK.

The timetable opens and the traversed line routes are displayed according to the selected option.
