Creating and deleting an individual class

For a classification setup, you can add or delete classes one by one. The procedure is the same for point objects and line objects.

1.  On the Graphics menu, click Edit graphic parameters.

The Edit graphic parameters window opens.

2.  In the navigator, select the desired entry.

3.  Select the Classified displayoption.

4.  In the table, click the row after which you want to insert a new class.

5.  Click the  Create button.

Tip: Alternatively, you can duplicate an existing class with the set graphic parameters via the  Duplicate class icon.

The class is created. The class limit of the new class lies between the selected class and the next one.

Notes: You may edit the class limits and other properties later on (Editing the display settings and class limits of a class).

You can delete a class by marking it in the table and clicking the  Delete button. You cannot delete the last class.

Tips: Alternatively, you can call the editing functions via the shortcut menu of the table.

In the case of alphanumeric attributes, you can use the symbols to move individual or several adjacent selected classes up or down in the list and thus change the drawing order.
