The ABM Nested Demand model type can be described as a spatially and temporally disaggregated 4-step, tour-based model, or Nested Demand model. It is based on a synthetic population and is constructed largely free of abstraction and close to reality: Activity executions and trips have a concrete temporal beginning, a concrete duration, and a concrete start and end point; tours are self-consistent.
