The installation of a license container is required for the operation of Visum. The following types of license containers are distinguished:
- USB dongle: A USB dongle is a USB stick with a special license memory.
- Soft container: A protected file that is permanently saved on a computer and can hold license information.
- Cloud container: A license storage on a cloud server.
To operate Visum, license information must be transferred to the license container.
