For objects of the PuT line hierarchy, the vehicle costs consist of the sum of the cost rates per vehicle unit and the optional cost rate of the vehicle combination.
We distinguish between cost per hour, cost per kilometer, cost per vehicle and cost per stopover (layover or depot).
Vehicle costs (hourly cost, kilometer cost and fixed cost) depend on the vehicle type (for example standard or articulated bus or tram in single or multiple traction) and/or the operator (for example public or private bus operator).
