Selecting VDFs for link types

You can compile a list of VD functions with user-defined parameters and subsequently allocate these VDFs to link types.

1.  From the Calculate menu, choose General procedure settings.

The General procedure settings window opens.

2.  In the navigator, select PrT settings > Links VD functions.

3.  In the VD functions section, add the VD functions (Selecting a VDF and setting the parameters) that you want to allocate to link types.

4.  In the Link types section, allocate the numbers of the desired VD functions to the link types in the VDFNo (VD functions number) column.

Note: The table shows the allocation of VD functions to link types.

Use the symbol to group the view of the link types by global types and allocate the same VD function to all link types of a global type.

Use the to ungroup the groups.

5.  Check the option Consider vMin for link types, if desired.

Note: Select this option to limit the minimum speed of a link to the minimum speed of the link type (congestion speed) (Specifying link types).

6.  Confirm with OK.

The changes are applied.
