Calculating line selection based on stop sequence

You can have the program use the stop sequence to calculate line selection for the timetable.

1.  Make sure the Timetable lines window is open (Selecting lines to be displayed in the timetable).

2.  Click the Calculate line selection based on stop sequence symbol .

The Calculate line selection based on stop sequence window opens.

3.  Make the desired changes.

Element Description

How many stop events of the stop sequence must be covered?

All stop events

Select this option to cover all stop events of the stop sequence.

Following min. number of stop events

Select this option to specify how many stop events of the stop sequence must at least be covered by the selected line routes.

The line routes must cover the stop events in the following sequence:

Any sequence

Select this option to have the program select lines in such a ways that the specified number of stop events is covered. The stop sequence is arbitrary.

Sequence as in stop sequence

Select this option to have the program select lines that cover the specified number of stop events in the same sequence as the stop sequence.

  • Also allow opposite direction

Select this option if you want to allow the line to cover the stop event on either the outward or the return direction.

Select active line routes only

Select this option, to choose active line routes only (Using filters to set network objects active or passive and Setting network objects active/passive via the spatial selection)

Only select line routes that serve the stop events selected

Select this option to only select the line routes that serve the stop events.

X routes selected. Replace or extend line selection with the line routes selected?

Replace

Select this option to replace the existing line selection by the calculated line selection.

Extend

Select this option to add the calculated line selection to the existing line selection.

4.  Confirm with OK.

The line selection is calculated and displayed in the timetable.
