Setting couplings to the maximum extension

In the case of manually created couplings of vehicle journeys, the maximum extension is not always taken into account, for example to the desired destination stop. You can use a special function to check whether all (active) coupled vehicle journeys are coupled on the entire parallel line route items. If this is not the case, the couplings are extended to these link sections.

1.  In the Edit > Network objects (PuT) > Vehicle journeys menu, click the Set couplings to maximum extension entry.

The Set couplings to maximum extension window opens.

Tip: You can also access the function in the Network window if you right-click the Lines button.

2.  If necessary, select the Only active objects option.

3.  Confirm with OK.

For all or all active vehicle journeys, the couplings are extended to the maximum extension. If only active objects are edited, only couplings between vehicle journeys that are contained in the set of active objects are considered.
