When a timetable is in operation, often more connecting journeys are realized than calculated by the delay analysis with Visum. This is because the connecting journeys wait for a previous connection. This behavior can be modeled by creating planned connecting journeys (Fundamentals: Calculations). Unlike connecting journeys, which are only possible within one stop, you can also insert planned connecting journeys between two stops.
