Using the schematic line diagram, you can visualize your timetables, plan and optimize connections, and display volumes or transfer flows (Fundamentals: Schematic line diagram).
If you want to create a new line network based on your network, take the following steps after opening the schematic line diagram window:
1. Select the aggregation level you want to show (Selecting display level for displayed edges).
2. Insert the desired stops as transfer nodes (Displaying individual stops as transfer nodes and Displaying active stops as transfer nodes).
3. Create the desired vehicle journeys (Displaying vehicle journeys in the schematic line diagram).
4. Edit the graphical display as required (Setting graphic parameters for the schematic line diagram).
5. Post-edit the display as desired (Post-processing schematic line diagrams).
6. Make the layout settings (Setting the layout for schematic line diagrams) and save them if required (Reading and saving the layout of schematic line diagrams).
