Working with lists

In Visum, you can access several types of lists:

  • Network object lists: You can display the attribute values of each network object type in a list, in a node list, for example. You can edit input attribute values (Editing the properties of objects in lists).
  • List of attributes: This list contains all attributes available in the network. You can insert and manage user-defined attributes for all network objects in the list (Creating a user-defined attribute). You can only view all other attributes in the list, but you cannot edit them.
  • List of network attributes: The list is used to display the values of all attributes of the network, i.e. the network settings and the user-defined values of the network. You can edit the latter in the list.
  • Evaluation lists: Evaluation lists contain the results of calculations or statistics. In evaluation lists, you cannot edit any values. The following lists count as evaluation lists:
  • Path lists
  • Passenger transfer lists
  • Shortest path search lists
  • Statistics
  • List of demand objects: you can, for example, display all matrices that exist in the network in a list, or all objects of the ABM model (Fundamentals: Demand objects of the activity-based model).
  • Matrix toll list (Specifying the matrix toll of a restricted traffic area)
  • Lists of objects of the 3-D network view, e.g. storyboards or information signs.
