Specifying settings for 3D graphics
You can specify the following settings for 3D graphics:
1. From the Edit menu, choose User preferences.
The User preferences window opens.
2. In the navigator, click GUI > 3D graphics.
3. Make the desired changes.

Activate antialiasing |
If this option is selected, the occurrence of aliasing caused by the screen resolution is reduced. The option also increases the quality of the video recording and reduces the recording speed. |
3-D graphic interface: |
Here you can select the desired graphics interface: OpenGL 3.0/DirectX 11 DirectX.11 is used by default. DirectX.11 enables access to Visum via remote desktop in 3-D view. Note The change of the setting only takes effect once you restart PTV Visum. |
4. Confirm with OK.
The settings are applied.
Note: On systems with multiple graphics cards, the higher-performance graphics card is automatically requested for Visum, so that a 3-D display is possible without special configuration of the system. |
