Modes

A mode can include either one private transport system or several public transport systems.

Examples for modes are for example:

  • HGV mode

Transport system HGV

  • PuT mode

all PuT transport systems, for example bus, tram, subway

  • Park & Ride mode

PuT transport systems and transport system PuTAux car

You can define multiple PuT modes. This way it is possible to model that for example long-distance passengers (Mode PuT-Long) may use all public transport systems (e.g. Intercity, Regional train, Bus) whereas, for example, commuters (Mode PuT-Local) may use only particular transport systems (Regional train, Bus).
