Evaluation of the Equilibrium_Lohse procedure

Under the condition that a sufficient number of iteration steps (N > 40) are carried out and that the procedure is not terminated due to the condition n = N, the Equilibrium_Lohse method produces realistic, stable results. Even in networks with low saturation, the distribution of volumes onto alternative routes is good. The greater number of iteration steps necessary for a good solution usually requires more route searches than the equilibrium assignment. This results in longer computing times.
