Defining settings for data exchange with the calculation server

In the General procedure settings window, you can make the settings for calculating the entire procedure sequence on compute nodes.

1.  From the Calculate menu, choose General procedure settings (Adjusting the general procedure settings).

Tip: Alternatively, you open the page by clicking the black triangle of the  Start procedure sequence button in the toolbar of the Procedure sequence window and selecting the Management of additional files for calculation on compute node entry.

2.  In the navigator, click Calculation on compute node page.

3.  Make the desired changes:

In the table, you specify how the exchange of files required for the procedure sequence between the host computer and the calculation server takes place.

Element

Description

File type

Displays the file types that can be exchanged with the calculation server.

Upload

Selection of files that are uploaded to the calculation server for calculation.

Download

Selection of files that are downloaded from the calculation server to the host computer.

Size

Display of total file size, all files of the type

Extension(s)

Display of the file type

Path

Display of the file path

Delete temporary files on the calculation server after calculation

If this option is selected, the calculation files on the calculation server are deleted after they have been downloaded to the host computer.

4.  Confirm with OK.
