1. From the File menu, choose Import >VDV 452.
The VDV 452 Import window opens.

Aggregate vehicle journeys |
If this option is selected, vehicle journeys with the same departure times, time profiles, and extensions are merged into one. This should enable the data based on operating days to be converted into the Visum system based on valid days (Public transport data import). Linked line block items are adjusted accordingly. |

Determine suggestions for operating periods |
If the option is selected, Visum uses the imported operating days to determine suggestions for Visum operating periods, which can reduce the number of required operating days. |

Note: You can save multiple versions of the data to a VDV data folder. In general, these so-called base versions are defined within a database via the table 485 - 'BASE_VERSION'. By naming the files with table numbers, you can continue to save multiple databases with a different export date to the same folder. When you import data into Visum, only one base version can be adopted. If there are multiple base versions in the folder specified, a window containing a list is opened, in which you can select the desired base version. |
The data is imported. A (temporary) network file is created and imported into Visum (Comparison of VDV 452 and Visum data model).
