Editing the display settings for nodes

1.  In the Safety section, right-click the icon.

Tip: Alternatively, you can right-click the Nodes button. From the shortcut menu, choose Graphic parameters.

The window Edit graphic parameters: Nodes opens.

2.  Make the desired changes:

Element Description
Node attribute

Selecting attribute for highlighting nodes in the network

Note

When you select the attributes Accident costs or Accident cost rate, a warning is displayed if the network contains nodes with a very low traffic intensity. In this case, you can set a filter with a minimum threshold (Filtering nodes and main nodes).

Threshold

Entry of the node attribute value which is the basis for legend scaling and coloring when highlighting nodes in the network display.

Min: Minimum value of the selected attribute in all nodes

Max: Maximum value of the selected attribute in all nodes

For APM attributes only (Selecting the APM attribute and showing an accident prediction):

Value of selected APM attribute, for which you want to highlight nodes with prediction results that correspond to this threshold in the Network editor.

Min: Minimum value predicted for the selected APM attribute in all nodes

Max: Maximum value predicted for the selected APM attribute in all nodes

You cannot enter a threshold for the APM types attribute. In the Network editor, the control types are displayed, e.g. Signalized or Roundabout.

Show legend

If this option is checked, a legend will visualize the color and size coding for nodes

For APM attributes only: Show a legend for the display of nodes that contain values of the selected APM attribute.

3.  Confirm with OK.

The network display is updated.

Notes: Further information on extended graphic parameters can be found in the graphic parameters description (Editing the display settings of a POI category).

The settings for nodes are adopted for the corresponding main nodes.
