The revenue indicators (Fundamentals: Calculation of operating costs and fare gains (revenues)) include the following indicators:
- Operating costs (Fundamentals: Calculation of the operating costs) and
- revenues from fares and cost coverage (Fundamentals: Calculation of the fare revenues (revenue calculation)).

Note: You can only calculate cost coverage if you have activated the Line costing calculation add-on ( Enabling or disabling add-ons ).

Selecting the revenue calculation method and the distribution method
1. Make sure, that the input attributes required by this method have been set.
2. Open Calculate > General procedure settings > PuT settings > Revenues and follow the steps outlined below:
- Select the appropriate revenue calculation method.
- Set the respective revenue calculation parameters (except for fare model).
- Change the settings accordingly for revenue distribution to path legs.
