Calculating spatial PuT analyses

You can use the procedure Spatial PuT analysis to perform analyses in which you combine attributes of line route items and vehicle journey sections (Fundamentals: Spatial PuT analysis).

1.  On the toolbar, click the  Open 'Procedure sequence' window button.

The Procedure sequence window opens.

2.  Add the Spatial PuT analysis procedure of the PuT analyses category to the position of your choice in the procedure sequence (Setting up and starting the procedure sequence).

3.  Select the operation added. Then in the Operations section, click the Edit button.

The Spatial analysis parameters window opens.

4.  Make the desired changes.

Element Description

Consider only active vehicle journey sections

Select this option to only account for active vehicle journey sections during the calculation.

Active

Select this option to have the attribute calculated.

AttID

Select a direct or indirect numerical vehicle journey item attribute, even user-defined attributes can be selected.

By default, the computed attribute Passenger kilometers (PassKmTrav (AP)) is used. It is the product of the volume of the respective sub-attribute and the Post length of the vehicle journey item.

Select a direct or indirect numerical vehicle journey item attribute. User-defined attributes can also be selected.

Distribution to line route items

according to length

each line route item receives the undivided and equal value, which is distributed to the vehicle journey sections according to the selected option.

Distribution according to occurrence in analysis period

Via this button you can add another row.

Delete

Click this button to delete a selected row.

5.  Confirm with OK.

6.  Execute the procedure (Setting up and starting the procedure sequence).

The spatial PuT analysis is calculated. The results of the procedure are output in the Line route item PuT detail list.

Note: You can reset the results of the calculation via the entry Initialize spatial PuT analysis in the Calculate menu.
