Removing zigzags from the stop sequence

In the Timetable lines: stop sequence, you can automatically remove zigzags from the following sets of stops:

  • from a contiguous, marked section in the stop sequence,
  • from several contiguous marked sections in the stop sequence,
  • from the entire displayed stop sequence

Visum iteratively removes zigzag courses until no more can be removed without creating a new zigzag course.

Tip: Alternatively, you can remove zigzags in other places in Visum:

1.  Make sure the Timetable lines: stop sequence window is open.

2.  Make sure that the desired lines are selected in whose stop sequence zigzag courses are to be removed.

3.  In the Timetable lines: stop sequence window, select the desired stops, if necessary.

4.  On the toolbar of the Timetable lines window, click the Remove zigzags symbol.

All zigzag courses between all or the selected stops are removed. If not, you will be notified of conflicts that prevent them from being removed. A zigzag is only removed if no other zigzag is created.
