You can search for suitable couplings of vehicle journeys in your model and have them inserted automatically. You can access this functionality in various places in Visum:
- In the network window
- In the network editor window
- In the lists of main lines, lines, line routes, time profiles, and vehicle journeys
- In the graphical and tabular timetable
Determining couplings in the network window
The function is always carried out for all existing (active) vehicle journeys in the network.
1. In the Network window, right-click the Lines button and select Determine couplings from the shortcut menu.
The Determine couplings window opens.
2. Make the desired settings (Einstellungen zum Koppeln von Fahrplanfahrten)..
3. Confirm with OK.
All possible couplings in the network are inserted. The coupled vehicle journeys are listed in the Messages window.
Determining couplings in the network editor window
1. In the Network editor window, right-click the marked main lines, lines, line routes, time profiles, or vehicle journeys for which you want to create couplings and select Determine couplings in the shortcut menu.
The Determine couplings window opens.
2. Make the desired settings (Einstellungen zum Koppeln von Fahrplanfahrten)..
3. Confirm with OK.
All possible couplings in the network are inserted. The coupled vehicle journeys are listed in the Messages window.
Determining couplings in lists
1. Open one of the following lists:
- Lines
- Main lines
- Line routes
- Time profiles
- Vehicle journeys
2. In the list, select the rows for which you want to determine couplings for the associated vehicle journeys.
3. Right-click the selection and choose Determine couplings from the shortcut menu.
The Determine couplings window opens.
4. Make the desired settings (Einstellungen zum Koppeln von Fahrplanfahrten)..
5. Confirm with OK.
All possible couplings in the network are inserted. The coupled vehicle journeys are listed in the Messages window.
Determining couplings in the graphical or tabular timetable
1. Open the graphical or tabular timetable (Opening the graphical and the tabular timetable).
2. Select the vehicle journeys for which you want to determine couplings.
3. Right-click the selection and choose Determine couplings from the shortcut menu.
The Determine couplings window opens.
4. Make the desired settings (Einstellungen zum Koppeln von Fahrplanfahrten)..
5. Confirm with OK.
All possible couplings in the network are inserted. The coupled vehicle journeys are listed in the Messages window.
