Saving graphic parameters for the Network editor window

Note: The graphic parameters of the Network editor window can be saved as a *.gpa or *.gpax file. In the *.gpax file, only the settings of the Edit graphic parameters window are saved while the *.gpa file also contains flow bundle and isochrone definitions, and the parameters of the shortest path search and the switched on turn volumes.

There are several ways to save the graphic settings.
Saving all or selected graphic parameters of the Network editor window

1.  Edit the graphic settings as desired.

2.  In the File menu, select the Save file as > Graphic parameters entry.

The Save: Graphic parameters window opens.

3.  Enter the desired file name and path, if required.

The Save graphic parameters selection window opens.

4.  Make the desired changes.

If the option has been selected, all graphic parameters are saved.

If the option has been selected, the graphic parameters selected in the list are saved.

Uncheck all

Use this button to deactivate all options.

Check all

Use this button to select all options of the Save column.

Skip unused contents

If the option has been selected, irrelevant data (for example classifications) will not be saved.

Note

In this case, switched off layers and layers of deactivated add-ons will not be saved either, even if the Skip inactive layers option is not selected.

Skip inactive layers

If the option is selected, switched off layers and subordinate layers will not be saved.

5.  Confirm with OK.

The graphic parameters of the Network editor window are saved.

Alternative method

1.  Edit the graphic settings as desired.

2.  In the Select GPar list box, enter a name for the file.

3.  Press the Enter key.

The settings are saved under the entered name to a graphic parameters file *.gtpa in the project directory for graphic parameter files (Saving a project directories file).

Tip: Window Edit graphic parameters provides another possibility. Here, you can use the Save button to directly save a *.gpax file in the desired directory.

Selective saving of graphic settings of individual elements

You can save the individual graphic settings of the network.

1.  Edit the graphic settings as desired.

2.  In the navigator of the Edit graphic parameters window, right-click the element for which you want to save graphic parameters.

3.  Click Save selectively....

4.  Save the graphic file *.gpax to the desired directory.
