Visum provides three models within the environmental impact model, to calculate the environmental impacts which are noise and pollution emissions, caused by motorized private transport (Environmental impact model and HBEFA).
- Noise-Emis-RLS-90: Calculation of noise emission levels in accordance with the guideline on noise reduction for roads, edition 1990 (RLS-90), without considering immission parameters.
- Noise-Emis-Nordic: Calculation of noise emission levels in accordance with Nordic Council of Ministers (1996).
- Pollution-Emis: Calculation of air pollution emissions in accordance with emission factors of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU).
