Optional: Optimize Traffic Signal Timing

1.  Create or select the scenario you want to optimize.

2.  Define Optimization Routes using the Routes tool from the Toolbox .

Tip: Defining the Routes in the Base Scenario makes them available under all scenarios. In the Network Optimization workflow table, reverse directions can be created by right-clicking the route to open the context menu.

3.  Define parameters in the Network Optimization workflow table .

4.  Select optimization parameters and run optimization by:

• either selecting the Network Optimization button in the Network Optimization workflow table
• or select from Signal Control > Network Optimization.

Tip: You can use Use Offset Optimization to select the level of precision you want. Example: 1s, 0.5s, 0.2s, 0.1s.

5.  Generate your Scenario Analysis Report (File > Print Report).
