Automatic Local Optimization for a Single Intersection

In addition to the Local Optimization for a Single Intersection discussed in the previous section, a single intersection can be automatically optimized, by selecting the toggle Automatic Optimization:

Automatic Optimization can be used to quickly optimize intersections with new volume parameters, intersection configurations, trip distributions and assignment information, as well as with other relevant data changed in the grid.

If the toggle is selected than the intersection optimization will be automatically updated when data is updated. Optimizations parameters will be the last saved or default parameters.

• To turn off automatic optimization, unselect the toggle.
