Selecting scenarios in the project structure for comparison

In the project structure, for each scenario, you can select one or multiple scenarios for comparison from the same scenario management project. This way you have one base scenario that is assigned to one or multiple comparison scenarios.

Vissim loads the network of the comparison scenario selected into the background. Based on the network of the base scenario, relations to networks loaded into the background are generated. To perform the comparison, open the base scenario, select the desired attributes and attribute values for network objects in the comparison scenarios of the base scenario in the attribute selection window. You can display these in the attribute lists of the network object types in the basic scenario and compare them with each other (Selecting attributes for scenario comparison).

1.  On the File menu, click > Scenario Management > Project Structure.

2.  Select the Scenarios tab.

3.  Click into the row of the scenario you want to compare with other scenarios. Then in the ScenToComp column, click the button.

4.  In the list, click the scenarios you want to use for comparison.

5.  Click the Close button.

The scenarios selected (comparison scenarios) are loaded into the background.

6.  Open the base scenario.

7.  Open the attribute list of the network object type whose attributes you want to compare (Opening lists).

8.  Select the attributes you want to compare (Selecting attributes for scenario comparison).
